Acer releases its latest solution to portable computing with the introduction of the Aspire 3935 laptop. Acer adds a touch of glamour with its ultra slim and portable notebook. The Aspire 3935 is a full metal structure with brushed metal finish and is available in shades of golden-brown.
Less then 1 inch thick, the Acer Aspire 3935 has a 13.3 inch HD 1366×768 pixel resolution screen. A FineTip keyboard, which is incorporated into the laptop, sports a pearl gloss finish with a shining base. The keyboard has large key caps and key gaps to make typing easy and comfortable. There are touch sensitive hotkeys for users to gain access to frequently used functions. The multi-gesture touchpad allows easy zooming, flipping and scrolling of documents and applications.
The connectivity features included in the Aspire 3935 allow customers to constantly stay in touch with friends and family wherever they are. The laptop has built-in Wi-Fi/WiMAX which supports Acer SignalUp. On selected models, a choice of embedded 3G wireless technologies provides unlimited connectivity. Integrated into the notebook is an Acer Crystal Eye webcam with Acer PrimaLite technology. This allows consumers to hold video conferences and video chat.
The Acer Aspire 3935 has a high-brightness Acer CineCrystal LCD screen sporting a slim sleek frameless design with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The notebook offers high definition listening pleasure with the Dolby-optimized surround sound system. This system includes two built-in stereo speakers with 3rd Generation Dolby Home Theatre audio enhancement.
The Aspire 3935 incorporates many features which help save energy. LED technology is used in the panel which increases readability in low-lighted areas. It also lowers power-consumption and is mercury-free. The panel can even be switched off altogether to save on energy consumption. The Acer SmartPower is also offered to customers of the notebook. This power-saving switch gives users control over battery life by conducting a series of actions to reduce power consumption. 8 hours of wireless computing is possible with an 8-cell battery.
Although compact in size, the Aspire 3935 by Acer offers impressive performance with state of the art technology incorporated into it. There is an Intel Centrino 2 processor technology with the newest Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Mobile Intel GM45 Express chipset offering 3D graphics integrated into the laptop. For quick response the system has up to 4 GB of DDR3 1066 MHz memory installed.
The optical drive is optional with Acer Aspire 3935 laptop and can be integrated with a solid state or hard disk drive. The former is for additional durability and the latter gives more storage. Another optional feature available for Aspire 3935 notebook is the Acer Bio-Protection. This feature is an adaptable fingerprint solution which offers biometric protection and gives users a personalized method to open favorite links, playlists and launch applications.
